This is a special academic programme that HND holders engage in, to achieve the BSc. certificate as graduates. We have the folowing departments:
Political science, occasionally called politology, is a social science which deals with systems of governance, and the analysis of political activities, political thoughts, associated constitutions and political behaviour.
Sociology and anthropology involve the systematic study of social life and culture in order to understand the causes and consequences of human action. Sociologists and anthropologists study the structure and processes of traditional cultures and modern, industrial societies in both Western and non-Western cultures.
Regional planning deals with the efficient placement of land-use activities, infrastructure, and settlement growth across a larger area of land than an individual city or town.
Mass communication is the process of imparting and exchanging information through mass media to large segments of the population. It is usually understood for relating to various forms of media, as these technologies are used for the dissemination of information, of which journalism and advertising are part.
Strategic studies is an interdisciplinary academic field centered on the study of conflict and peace strategies, often devoting special attention to the relationship between international politics, geostrategy, international diplomacy, international economics, and military power.
Theatre or theater is a collaborative form of performing art that uses live performers, usually actors or actresses, to present the experience of a real or imagined event before a live audience in a specific place, often a stage.
Economics is the social science that studies how people interact with things of value; in particular, the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. Economics focuses on the behaviour and interactions of economic agents and how economies work.
Candidates must satisfy the following admission requirements:
1. Applicants must possess HND certificate in related courses to be admitted into the BSc. Degree Programme.
2. Completion or exemption from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme.
3. Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O' level subjectsin not more tan two (2) sittings in the subjects relevant to their proposed programme.
