Department of Chemical/Petroleum Engineering

Petroleum engineering is a field of engineering concerned with the activities related to the production of Hydrocarbons, which can be either crude oil or natural gas. Subsequent development training has usually been done within oil companies. Chemical engineering is a multi-disciplinary branch of engineering that combines natural and experimental sciences (such as chemistry and physics), along with life sciences (such as biology, microbiology and biochemistry) plus mathematics and economics to design, develop, produce, transform, transport, operate and manage the industrial processes that turn raw materials into valuable products.

Department of Civil Engineering

Civil engineering is the application of physical and scientific principles for solving the problems of society, and its history is intricately linked to advances in the understanding of physics and mathematics throughout history.

Department of Electrical/Electronics & Computer Engineering

The Electrical/Electronics & Computer Engineering (ECE) program prepares you for a wide range of engineering study and career options, including business, biomedical engineering, computer hardware, the aerospace industry, computer software, nanoelectronic chips, photonics, nanoengineering, robotics and solar energy harvesting and distribution.

Department of Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering is an engineering branch that combines engineering physics and mathematics principles with materials science to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery.

General Admission Requirement

Candidates must satisfy the following admission requirements:

1. Applicants must possess HND certificate in related courses to be admitted into the BSc. Degree Programme.
2. Completion or exemption from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme.
3. Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O' level subjectsin not more tan two (2) sittings in the subjects relevant to their proposed programme.

Duration of Programme

Two (2) years or 4 semesters.
